Debug Mode Outside of Test Play Pokemon Essentials has a "Debug" mode where you can do various things, like changing pokemons' levels, instant healing, and many other useful features. Debug is normally only available when you are playing Pokemon Essentials in Rpg Maker XP's "Test Play", and this guide will show you how to get around that. It's simple actually. All you need is the following code:
Now the trick is where to put that code. Whether debug mode is turned on or not does not pertain to the game's save file. So if you made an event that executed the code and then saved the game, you'd soon find out that debug mode would be turned off again the next time you ran the game, even though you saved. So the best place to put it is someplace that happens EVERY time the game is turned on, before the save file is loaded, someplace like the title screen. Now there are probably multiple places you can put the code to make this happen on the title screen, but I will show you one of those ways to make sure you can get it easily. Just go to script "PokemonLoad" and find the following code:
and replace it with:
And then you're done. Enjoy. :) |
